Special Donation Request

As we all know,? the world has changed in the last month as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.? Both the Shul and some of its members need assistance.?

Several regular members of the Shul are facing financial hardship; where possible, they have applied for government support, but they have no way of knowing when it will arrive. The Rabbi is arranging for donated funds to be directed to those in need through the Rabbi?s Discretionary Fund. In addition, The Shul on the Beach itself is facing critical times as we struggle to meet our operating costs.??

The Shul on the Beach asks that, if you are fortunate enough to have financial resources available, you consider making a donation below and participating in this special fund-raising drive.?While both the Shul and its members need help, please put the individuals and families that have pressing needs first. Our Shul is happy to facilitate that through this direct assistance campaign. Please simply click on the button below labeled ?Direct ?Assistance to Families and Individuals in Need.??

These donations will go directly to people affiliated with the Shul who have immediate needs. You can donate in memory of a loved one, in honor of a friend or family member, or just because you want to give tzedaka.? There is no doubt this is one of the greatest Mitzvot one can engage in and surely will invoke the mercy of our Creator in these difficult times.?

If you are in the position to make an additional donation towards Shul operations to keep our Shul and its important work going, please click on the separate button below labeled ?Keep the Shul on the Beach Going.? The shutdown will pass, and we want the Shul to be able to return to its regular operations when that time comes. Your donations help make this possible.

May HaShem surround us with his cloud of protection for continued health, safety, and increased prosperity for all of us!?
